Stunning music, and a great commemoration to those who defended the Eastern Roman Empire from the Turks. I give this a five. Every other illiterate f*ck will downvote it, though.

THOSE ARE THE 250,000 STRONG ARMY OF THE OTTOMAN SULTAN MEHMED II OUTSIDE THE BATTLEMENTS OF CONSTANTINOPLE ON TUESDAY MAY 29TH 1453 AS THE LAST 6000 SOLDIERS OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE FOUGHT TO THE END IN A BLOODY BLAZE OF GLORY.

WELL YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW THAT THE TERM "BYZANTINE EMPIRE" WAS INVENTED BY AN 18TH CENTURY HISTORIAN AND THAT THE EMPIRE AND ALL OF IT'S CONTEMPORARIES REFERRED TO IT AS "THE ROMAN EMPIRE" UNTIL IT'S DESTRUCTION IN 1453 SINCE THE LINE OF EMPERORS WAS UNINTERRUPED FROM CONSTANTINE I TO CONSTANTINE XI AND THE LEGAL AND CULTURAL TRADITIONS OF ROME PERSISTED THROUGH THE ENTIRETY OF THE "BYZANTINE" EMPIRE (WELL EXCEPT LATIN ?:()

I knew that. And if you look at a map from the short period of time when Papal Crusaders conquered the Roman aka Byzantine Empire they call it the Latin Empire.
