Remind your friend to stay clean. No matter how much you may feel like going back will be great...you suddenly find yourself back to wasting your money, time, family, and friends. And for what? For your own cheap little high?! It's possible to walk away from WoW. I know what it's like. I'm Frenchbreadpizza, and I'm a former MMORPGcaholic.
I started playing WoW over a month ago. Mostly as research since I'm in the process of developing my own web-based MMO. I play a few hours a day, some days not at all, and the only time it really cuts into is time I likely would have spent staring at the TV like a Borg drone. At least when I'm on WoW I'm actually socializing with real people and having fun. I'd say television is a much more widespead addiction that gets no attention at all, because the ones that would condemn it are PROFITING from it.
