While this YTMND is clearly the work of a genius, I cannot help but be baffled by the artistic merit which it contains and demonstrates. The emotional symbolism is overwhelming, and brings me closer and closer to tears each time the animation loops, but it is confusing-- as I know not whether these tears are of sadness, or of happiness for the protagonists. The blue tint of the overall scene does nothing to influence the mood, as the eyes are clearly not what are intended to perform the artistic judgement.
