I've never really used a Mac before, so I don't really know if they're any better or not. I do know, however, that having that condescending, Gap-wearing, hipster douchebag represent Macs does a good job in deterring me from ever wanting to be a "Mac user." Like your YTMND does well in pointing out, I'd much rather be the dorky but likeable PC, played superbly by comedian/author John Hodgman.
I will be honest. No matter how many times my PC crashes, I'm still thankful I have one. Because NO ONE (no one smart for that matter) owns a MAC. Conclusion: Macs suck, and the only time they were good was the Apple II era. In fact, they wern't Mac. So all Macs have been, and always will, be useless, prettied up, flaming boxes of silicon. And the comercials suck. I really want to beat up the Mac guy, btw.
That's ok. You did make some good points, although they are generalizations. I didn't find it too funny, so you get three stars. However, your point about mac users being condescending *ssh*l*es has a little merit. Just keep in mind that by making this, you prove that PC users are still closed minded bigots who don't recognize a good thing when they see it.
Gah, I'm torn by my Mac-ness and my YTMND-ness, so I'm midvoting. Clearly people who bash Macs either have never used them, used a seriously outdated one, or are just scared of something different. I don't know, but I do know the advantages that Windows has over Mac OS X and vice versa. Decent YTMND, though. Huzzah.
i admit that the ads are c*cky, but macs are amazing. people that say macs suck are people that used macs at their school back in third grade, and they compare it to todays pc's. i have both pcs and macs in my house and macs are waaay better. if you say macs dont have good games, go buy a macbook pro, download and install bootcamp, install windows XP, go buy any game you want

Though, I'm not gay. I really hate those f*cking commercials, too. You made valid points, like the hackers' lack of interest, and the fact that Mac users seem too condescending and *ssh*l*e-ish. This DOES give PC's a bettter name. I wouldn't give my Mac up for anything, but I don't have a problem with Windows...Other than the lack of Tech support, 23/7. You have been 5'd. Dougman, you are an idiot. You are the posterchild for the asswipes that give PC users a bad name. You have no idea what you are talking about. The Mini and the Macbook use standard PCMCIA compliant hardware, and the stuff found in the desktop comps are able to be taken out, replaced, and transferred between macs of the same caliber. Hell, The sh*t I have in the Mac I'm using right now could make a PC...Minus the RAM...I need that RAM for my stuff >_>

Another example of PC users being defensive in the realization that Apple is growing but you all are use to sh*tty computers running sh*tty windows which by the way has come up with nothing original in 15 years. While u losers pray that your computer does not freeze while reaching a critical point in WOW i would be shocked if I got a pop up. MAC 4 LIFE
