Uh oh crazy existentialist talk. I don't even know what "infinitely connected" means... But I do know that we do have size but to say that we are the only thing that exists and that we are large or small is something that has no meaning. To say that I am small relative to something else has meaning. But, to say that I am small, look at all the pretty stars, they're bigger than me, there's lots of them, therefore god doesn't exist I agree with you.
"I think that everything is God." Pantheism! I have an almost finished ytmnd that I wasn't sure if I was ever going to complete/submit along these lines... it is also a parody of pantheism. However, to finish my last comment, the size, big or small, has nothing to do with the existence of god other than it makes for a good red herring argument for or against the existence of god, both of which are completely ridiciulous. Also, I have no reason to believe that god exists. That's a winner!
"Crazy existentialist?" I'm not sure I know what the means. I mean that we are all physically, mentally, figuratively, however-the-f*ck-edly connected, and our separate sentience is just an illusion. I create you in my mind, and you create me. We are just thoughts, because that which we see makes up our thoughts. And our thoughts make up our minds, so there is no difference between mind and matter.
Just the character is the issue. I (Heart) Huckabees is a movie that talks about the interconnectedness of everything (existentialist idea) and in the end concludes that we are all connected and that it means nothing. I don't know what they mean by the connectedness so I agree that it means nothing. However, as far as me creating you in my mind, I take no responsibility for your creation and I am actively trying to get rid of you. So far, no luck.
Joking, of course. It's just that solipsism is "possible" but seemingly highly unlikely. It would take quite a powerful brain to continually come up with the random stuff that goes on in the world. Also it'd be cruel for your own brain to put you through some of the anguish that you have to go through. Like having your appendix burst. I take sollipsism as a possibility, but no more realistically than other unrealistic possibilities. After all, "It's all really happening!" (Life Aquatic)
What I'm talking about isn't solipsism. That theory is incomplete, as it implies that what you think is certain. I could get really, really, really complicated (or incredibly simple, depending on how you look at it), but I think we should save this for a chat on AIM. It's a little ridiculous posting here on this site's comments list. IM me if you want to talk: chdarkness87.
