You have just told everyone how to get more junk mail. This is not a hard concept you understand. Responce = more solicitation. Just becuase you're a teenager doesn't mean you know everything. You are wrong on this. This site is as full of mis-information. Trust me. If you have any descency (which you clearly don't due to your name calling), you'll delete it or change it to the address I gave you.
hank, honestly, we're just here to have fun, okay? This isn't wikipedia. I have been doing this for years, and I get the same amount of offers as I always have. Regarding selling my name/address when they get a response: how did they get my name in the 1st place, was it sold to them? by whom? someone I repsonded to earlier? By your logic it would have to be traceable to an initial response. Whay wasn't my name sold to all possible buyers at that time?
rhinofeeder, that's weird, because I told a co-worker that I'd never seen fight club, so he told me that I have to see it or else I might be kicked out of the male gender (then what would I do?), and ever since, he's been asking me if I've seen it yet. So it's like he's asking me for "fight club homework status".
His idea is a little different than Maddox's.. who just stuffed in pizza hut coupons and other junk mail. There was also a guy that mailed the credit card company a huge tire that he put in a box with the reply envelope taped on. This idea has been around forever, even before that bash.org entry, but it doesn't mean it's unfunny. -1 for Randy Newman.
As I read the comments I see the typical dumbasses on YTMND. 1) Maddox said to send them coupons so that you would not get sued, you are sending them something worthwhile. 2)If you just deny ever recieving an app you're fine, they can't prove that the letter wasn't mis-delivered. How are you people so stupid?
[Quote/ Maddox]They can't do anything about it because this is simply your way of telling them you're not interested, and giving them valuable coupons that could save them a lot of money, SO SPREAD THE WORD: JUNK THE JUNK.[end quote]
Maddox didn't come up with the idea, and he wants people to spread the word, so stop downvoting.
Film Threat (when it was still a magazine) had the best "Return Postage" War ever. They had some beef against Premier Magazine... They told thier readers to go to the magazine stand and get some of those Return Postage Subscription postcards that fall out when you open them. Then Tape together a few phonebooks or something else really heavy, and glue the Pre Paid postage card to it. Premiere Magazine had to pay all the postage on this heavy junk being sent to them...
Jackofspades, this isn't going to stop anyone from getting junk mail. It's just going to waste your time. It's like hanging up on a telemarketer. It maybe fun, but it doesn't stop the calls. If you want to stop the telemarketers and junk mail then you have to submit your name to the opt-out list I posted.
