CITE YOUR SOURCES... JESUS Actually, I agree with you, but I don't really think that saying something as simple as "YTMND" is really citing a source. It's just saying you got the sound from another YTMND, but not what the sound is, or where you got it.

Technically the Joplin song is a part of public domain, so it doesn't legally matter, but you're setting a bad example. The source citation is to give credit to the original author. YTMND is a website, not an author.

There it's cited to Joplin, trust me I knew who wrote the song. The thought I had was that since it was not the full song, nae not even a quarter of it, that I would state that I got it from YTMND, and I also worked under the assumption that everyone knows who the hell this song is by.
