Just a quick "bullsh*t" explanation of how the ball appears on the left side after the paddle loses it: As far as I remember you can serve again after you lose the ball :P But it's been ages since I've played pong.

the loops pretty good but it'd look a lot better if you just had him turn to the left and then rewind back to the beginning instead of him turning both directions. the gif would also be smaller. and put a loader on it

Yeah, I just took the music from an Amiga rip since I figured it would be remotely related to Pong. Since Pong noises would be boring I figured it would be the next best thing. Didn't want to use a newer version of the song since it would have made less sense if there was any sense to using Bubble Bobble with Pong to begin with :P
