lol, 2^8=256 possible states. Binary IS on or off. Do people really think that 1's and 0's are flying around inside a f*cking computer? In electronics it's usually +5V(or 3.3V) and 0V. To confuse things, active-low logic uses lack of voltage (0V) as a 1, and 5V as 0. People really ought to think before opening their mouth.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go tighten up some graphics.

Oh, and binary is not ON or OFF. It is a base counting system of mathematics that uses a ZERO or a ONE. However, technically you can use any two symbols to represent binary, as long as one of them represents "zero in the {blah} place, or one in the {blah} place". "On" and "off" is an explanation of binary meant to help people whoa re not used to it, cope.

Grr I had to come back and look... Electrically speaking (my background is electrical) and from a signaling standpoint, binary can be considered 'on or off' or more specifically, 'one of two states'. However, mathematically speaking, yes it is 1's and 0's. Somebody f*cking shoot me I'm supposed to be working lol.

Binary is different depending on your're field. Mathmatics and programmers see it as 1s and 0s and electritions and computer engineers (thats me) see it as on and off. Binary in it's most basic form are switches. Or it can be the act of counting in binary numbers (1,2,4,8,16...). It is possable for a computer to understand base 10, or 16 and the first computers did that. They used varying charges in vaccuum tubes to represent 1-10, but soon found it impossable to get right due to power fluctuations always

This is the biggest piece of sh*t I ever saw. How the hell is this popular? There isn't even a number count on the screen, at least somethign to make it interesting. I was going to 1 it immedietly, but I thought I'd wait for the end and see if NEDM appears, but once the sound looped I knew it wouldn't. There isn't even a "THE END" splash. This is terrible.

God damnit, I figured instead of waiting for the ending, I would open it in Jasc animation shop. My computer slowed down and stopped responding, and after 5 minutes of tyring to get control of it, I just pressed restart. It started back up, after all the laggyness from the programs that start up when I turn my computer, I tried to open it again, and after making it through several stopped respondings, and the about 10 minutes it took it to render the f*cking frames, to see the text [Epic Ending Here]
