Vocabulary, Iyanna, age 9
Iyanna, a fourth grader at the Boys and Girls Club I work at, wrote this for homework. I laughed. She's actually really smart, she just doesn't try. English is her first language. She's not retarded.

calling people handicapped isn't very funny. This is though. lmao. I was acing stuff 10 times harder than this in first grade. It just shows teachers and parents must really suck.

The kid isn't handicapped. This is just a monument to how smart people don't apply themselves.

I used to score exams for standardized tests..Some of the stuff written was comic gold. Damn shame I had to sign an agreement not to reproduce the material.

Wait, so if English is her first language, is she habdicapped? Normal fourth graders are well past the stage where you're doing this poorly at writing.

People--read the description--"English IS her first language"--it does NOT say she's handicapped OR Russian--"she just doesn't try". If you can't read descriptions, then you're no better than her, so you can't make fun, IMHO.
(0)
That's just kind of stupid.

I love how 99% of people on here think they know everything but haven't got the knowledge to read a damn description.

May 17th, 2006

you say that she doesn't try...how can you not try on a spelling test? it's either you know how to spell it or you don't, there's no effort involved.
(0)
Shoe red. No, this is English, we put our adjectives first.
