FBI Agent Angela del Toro received the mystical paws and head of the Jade Tiger of K'un L'un after her uncle Hector, the original White Tiger, was killed. She reluctantly took up his mantle and became the new White Tiger after Daredevil inspired her with his ideals of the good a superhuman vigilante could do.
Angela del Toro originally did not the responsibility that came with becoming a super hero. It was only after Daredevil helped her see how much good she could do that she accepted her role and assumed her place in the White Tiger lineage.
