Yeah, I'm trying to get a smoother recording, but I'm not having much luck.

On on the site ?Sexymofo's sad past.
Am I the only one who thinks that a math test only covering basic multiplication in a SIXTH GRADE CLASS is a little disturbing? Hell, I'm pretty sure I was starting prealgebra in sixth grade.

That may well be a tad harder. I might have to do that though, see what happens. Probably a garbled, dense mess.

So my thought process thoroughly covers the obvious, big deal.
August 27th, 2006
yeah, headphone make it better. Each track is solely in one speaker, so if you lose one, no good.
August 27th, 2006
have you heard the other remixes of we interrupt this program? I'm fairly certain most of them are not a whole lot like the original, especially right down to the transitions, like the ames one is.
August 27th, 2006
That is just SLIGHTLY creepy as all hell.

@ ganon: I used audacity, just a simple waveform editor. It has a tool to change tempo, speed, and pitch, amongst other things, plus it's free.

You fail. I put them together to show how awesome they sound together. Good day sir.

lala, the jean claude ames mix is on the ytmnd soundtrack 11, if you want it as is. check the ytmnd wiki for it.
August 27th, 2006
you spelled it "bithday" what the hell is a bithday?
August 27th, 2006
@jcmark: Not so much. It's more comparing a song against someone else's interpretation and reworking of the song. I suppose you're half right.
August 27th, 2006
I smell sarcasm. Regardless, most remixes that I've heard of usually change the rhythm of the song entirely, not to mention completely change transition points and whatever else.
August 27th, 2006
Awesome! Send them at ten o clock on friday. The tubes might be a little full though.
August 27th, 2006
THAT's the word. I knew "fade" was wrong.
August 27th, 2006
I can slow the text down a bit, you're kinda right.
August 27th, 2006
yes, it's just the two songs, one in each ear. The only changes I've made are to the remix's tempo, to get the beats to match up as best I can.
August 27th, 2006
I don't claim it's better, I'm just sharing that I thought they sounded cool together.

On on the site ?ooooowWAT, OWwwww
oh damn, a groan tube! I had one of those.

WACKY WAVING UNINFLATABLE ARM-FLAILING SMALL CHILD!
August 12th, 2006
@ sava: yeah, I noticed, someone told me it went up on digg. Last I saw was like, 1200 or something. Good stuff, that.
August 12th, 2006
If someone can give me a place to host it, I can upload the htm file.
August 12th, 2006
Christ, I can't say I expected it to be this popular...awesome. Top 15 two days in a row! Thanks everyone.

As I now realize, you can only change the DNS error page, since 404 errors are server-side. The registry entry for the internet explorer DNS error page is "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/microsoft/internet explorer/main" entry "local page". If you save the gif image, and then stick it in an html file and save it, you can change the value here to that HTML file (just make sure it's in a directoty that you can enter in regedit from memory).

I'm fairly certain there's a registry edit that lets you set any html file as your 404 or DNS error page. If I can figure it out, I'll put it here.
