I agree with Khaaaaaaaaaan. These "pro Internet Freedom" movements are nothing but anti-capitalist movements. If you like these uprisings so much then move down south with Chavez. Socialist swine. You could simply combine all of the religions in the world into a group and count how many they killed, and I am sure it would be near equal or more to the atheist groups combined. Flawed ideologies are flawed ideologies. All it takes is the denial of individual rights to cause any genocide, and the atheists and religious have both contained these flawed ideologies in their sub groups. I am an Objectivist, and an atheist and do not think this is a fair argument to ideologies that are not anti-life.
You are comparing apples to oranges. Atheism is NOT a philosophy. Atheism is also not a political movement. It is simply the unbelief in god. If you are going to make a judgement on how many people a particular social group killed, please group them by either religion, philosophy or political movement. It is unfair to group atheism into the same group and make a judgement on it. There are many different groups of atheists, just as there are many different groups of religious.
