The appeal of scientology basically is it's life-improvment theme, but ultimately it promises immortality. the core belief of "inner" scientology basically funds internal research for achieving immortality. Hence the membership of wealthy celebrities.
yeah im sure you know what your talking about. Getting Interviewed and reviewed is the only cost to becoming a scientologist. There is no membership fee or monthly fee.
It's very independent. The only costs are for the people's time(who have jobs and families unlike clergy) to review those interested in becoming more involved with the church.
