The UFO ending ends the game when you reach the lighthouse by the lake...
Aliens come down, Harry acts slightly confused, slightly amused, and asks them his patented "Have you seen a little girl around here?" question, but gets shot with a stun-ray before he can finish... At which point he's dragged onto a UFO which proceeds to fly off into space... Credits roll Star Wars style...

I don't believe there was ever a dog in a chair. However, the Silent Hill series does seem to have a fetish with both dogs and chairs, so I would not be surprised if a dog/chair combo appeared somewhere down the line...
