Why should anything be censored on YTMND? If you have max ban whetstone for spewing his dumb propaganda, then other people can't be denied the right to petition for the banning others who don't share their beliefs.
Try to remember that people are always disagreeing about some form of sh*t or another, and on YTMND too. Sure, whetstone's an *ssh*l*e, but look around and you'll find a lot more others worse than he is.
YTMND has generally been a bastion of free speech. Let whetstone have is stupid 15 minutes and if max wants to ban him, he doesn't need a petition to do it.
I actually lost a lot of respect for Max in this, I'm not Christian but I still enjoy a YTMND that at least tries to provoke thinking. At the very least it's freedom of speech and yet despite the fact that this site is filled with millions of *$&# YTMND's, overused fads, inside jokes, stolen content, etc... we decide to go after the guy posting unique content just because of its religious nature?
If you come here for humor and etc, you don't have to click on his sites. Why are you so offended that you need to ban whetstone and not countless other users who ARE tryingf to get attention from -actually- being offensive?
If he is full of sh*t there is no reason to believe him. A tendency to get him banned is rather intolerant i'd say. Just because he says them you don't have to believe it.
I saw someone say in one of the comments for the 'Cries of the Infedels' site that he was an atheist because of people like Whetstone. What is the difference between believing Christianity because people try and scare you like Whetstone or not believing it because they do? You are still letting someone else his actions control your beliefs.
I'm all for freedom of speech but he has made his opinion clear. He loves Jesus. Now all he is doing is annoying the sh*t out of folks who come here for a laugh and to see art (lol). I say don't ban right now, but bring the moderator hammer down on his sites, he'll stop making them if they get deleted in 2.5 seconds.
No, he clearly is not covered by free speech, Max owns the site. But banning Whetstone would be a dick move, and you all know it. You disagree with a guy, and he should be banned? While we're at it, let's ban everyone with sites rated under 3, those who vote only 5 or 1 on all sites, and all those who include porn or disturbing images!

Why dont people just not go to his sites? I could understand wanting to ban him if he made TONS of ytmnds and flooded the site with garbage but he's made less ytmnds than have been made ABOUT him.
I come here for humour but I also don't mind the occasional serious subject. Even if I don't neccesarily agree with it.
I don't like the preachy sites either, but luckily I have one of those web browsers that has a red X, so I can hastily close sites I don't care for. And I'm quite sure Max can handle Whetstone on his own. Why don't we put forth more effort exposing and banning folks that cheat the rating system instead of eroding free speech?
Sadly, I watch what was once at least an attempt at maintaining unbiased logic (although it proved an ultimate failure the first time around) dissipating before my eyes. You've cited works all originating from the same man (Shaw), neglected any mention of cases of the opposite, and completely side-stepped that dementia can befall the terminally ill. Stop preaching half-truths and thinly-veiled propaganda, and go back to the funny, please?
I've seen alot on YTMND that I don't like, but I don't go around demanding that the people who made it be banned. (I might if it's something extreme, like "Hitler is awesome" or "yay child porn!" or "death to black people!") If people are willing to let people make ytmnd's about science and even a few about their personal beliefs, or attacking personal beliefs, than Whetstone has done nothing wrong in making his own YTMND on what he believes. Of course, I'm not the final authority on that, and the owner of YTMND.com can do as he wishes, though I STRONGLY hope that Whetstone does not get banned in light of what everyone else has done here and nothing has happened to them. If people disagree with him, fine. Make your own YTMND's. It's your right.
I can't vote 1 star without telling the creator why I was disappointed. Whetstone has as much a right as anyone to make YTMNDs, and you know that full-well. You also know that you have the right to not view a YTMND, and therefore there is no unjust imposition of anyone's religious beliefs. Do you have sources for your "quotes" from Max, or are these just a series of unsubstanciated claims? From a legal standpoint, no laws have been broken by either of you. However, if Whetstone's identity was revealed and sites such as these continued to be made, the creator would be risking a harassment and/or slander and/or libel lawsuit.

For what must be the umpteenth time this has been posted, you don't have to view his sites, and you don't have a right to not be offended. Trying to get him and his creations banned from the site on the basis of his ideas (rather than, say, a violation of the terms of service or the law) is nonsensical and very Secret Nazi-like of you. Sieg heil.
I don't hate Christians. When it comes to people trying to shove their views down my throat at an entertainment site I don't discriminate in my hatred. I don't care if you're muslim, christian, buddist, atheist, or of any other persuasion. Please go somewhere else if you're one of those religious jerks who believes that your view is better than everybody else's and that it is your job to "spread the word".
If you don't like his YTMND, either downvote it or just DON'T. WATCH. IT. YTMND is a free forum, whetstone is free to make anything and everything. He's not shoving anything down your throats, he's just serving it up. And, sure, it might smell like sh*t, but SOME people like it. That's my theory with Indian food. And shouldn't I be able to eat Indian food if I want to?
All of Whetstones sites have been incredibly intriguing and well made. If they bother you SO much, WHY WATCH THEM?
If they truly upset you, maybe deep down you know they are true?
Regardless, what you are doing is called Religious Persecution. It's more unoriginal than eBaum.
I'm 100% behind Whetstone. If Max decides to get rid of him, fine... but that's his decision.
Like it's been said before, his "religious" beliefs are not being "forced" on anyone. You CHOSE to view his site, and you CHOSE to react the way you did. As a religious Christian myself, I don't really think Whetstone is the best person to represent religion, especially with his Cries of the Infidels site. But instead of crying about it and refusing to take responsibility for how I react, I just don't watch it. It's not that hard, people. It's called maturity.
Also, it's not being "open-minded" to slam someone with religious beliefs. True open-mindedness means respecting all thoughts of belief, even if you don't agree with some of them.

And, if people would stop being such panzys, and just ignore his sites, there would be no problem, but people look, and respond, which is the problem.

But, again, you all are the ones who chose to view Whetstone's site, and you all have chosen to react in whatever way you did. No one is forcing anything on you. Grow up. Quit whining. If you don't believe in what he does, then just don't watch his stuff.
