Sirlancelot used a FFXI hack program called "POS.exe" that lets you edit your position in the zone to whatever coordinates you want at any time. Naturally it's against the TOS, and if you get caught, you'll get suspended or banned.
The point about mentioning Newgrounds is that they had it first. It was submitted there on June 3rd. So eBaum didn't necessarily steal it from ABS. Although that doesn't make it any better. Just saying.
