I think that featured users are so because they're active members of the community. Members who help and clearly stand out in a huge crowd like this. Anyway, I think that what they produce should not get so much hype, they're just users, no matter their position. Their success should belong to the power of the vote (which is, in my opinion, completely rotten here). I'm sending a message, ytmnd should be reshaped in what concerns features and voting methods. But not only that.
