As a Confederate I'm tired of getting blamed for slavery, while you Yankees deny any shared responsibility for this horrible crime against humanity.

The Continental congress legalized it in 1654... and y'all did not want to illegalize it either until after the War for Southern Independence. Lincoln wanted to deport every black person, and in Delaware they were allowed to have slaves until 1901 when it was finally outlawed.
Also y'all invaded Dixie not for the freedom of slaves, y'all invaded to (1) enforce tax law upon the South and (2) reclaim the slaves and plantations they worked on that was owned by very wealthy textile moguls of New York, etc.
I don't hate black people, I just wish that we Confederates, Southrons, what ever would stop getting blamed for slavery when (A) the North owned 90% of all Southern held slaves and (B) the North (i.e. America) allowed slavery to exist in Delaware until 1901!
Heck we even banned slavery in the CSA in 1865 long before the war ended... if we were fighting to enslave black people then why free them!?
