wrong, there is a huge difference between scotland and england. britain refers to great britain which includes england, scotland, the not-so-north part of ireland, and wales. This confusion is frequent in other countries, but, as my ex girlfriend (1/8 english, 3/8 scottish, 1/2 british) pointed out to me several times, britain is the bigger all encompassing term. also, the ethnic make up of monty python was as follows: 1 american, 1 welsh, 4 english.
