People fail to realize that Jesus didn't rise from his grave, but the myth of Jesus sure did. And, really, neither one would prove the existence of God, and the lack of the former won't kill people's beliefs. After all, irrational thought can withstand any rational evidence and still be just as strong, just as irrational, and just as idiotic.
haha, names on some tombstones and 2,000 year old remains, yeah that proves it alright it must have been Jesus Christ, and the thing is if you read more about it they say they are going to use DNA testing to prove without a doubt it was jesus. Because obviously they have a sample of Jesus' DNA from a used condom they found with the holy grail. GO SCIENCE!! Yeah and you guys are calling Christians sheep, what a bunch of hypocritical morons.
I really with the smug, arrogant atheists and the uptight, hypocritical christians would just duke it out and blow themselves up already so that the atheists and christians that actually respect and tolerate others beliefs can move on. I'm a christian who has no problem with atheists. If that's what you believe, it's none of my business to change it, just give me that same respect.
I DID call Christians sheep and I never said they could prove anything, but I did say that if they could prove it, nothing would change. Why are you sheep? Well, let's see. You didn't come up with the religion on your own, you have no proof that the religion is correct, and you follow some book written 2000 years ago as if it were factual. Baaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh.
I'm not christian, I just think it was ironic that you said that they were sheep, you're a sheep if you think they could ever "find jesus' body" I mean how would you go about doing that? And like atheists aren't all a bunch of sheep, oh wow you don't believe in god and you go around belittling anyone who does. I'd say you really don't know much about Christianity, I mean early Christians weren't really sheep, or Catherine of Genoa, Eckhart, John of the cross.. it's ignorant people like you who are sheep

Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King, kierkegaard, erasmus, what is it hundreds of catholic saints (I am sure they were all just sheep right?), not to mention millions of intelligent, reasonable, prominent figures in history, and people around the world that happen to be Christian. What is it that makes you so superior to these people? You don't believe in anything, well I don't think sheep believe in anything either.

Unless you're a lot older than you let on, you didn't come up with atheism. And guess what? You have no proof you're correct either. Unless you claim to be arrogant enough to have knowledge of the entire universe, you have about as much proof God doesn't exist as I do that he does: NONE. Atheism is almost as much an article of faith as theism.

And trees and rocks have as much reason to be theists as you do, which is to say none, yet somehow you make the absurd Kierkegaardian "leap of faith", which boggles the mind.
Like I said before, it doesn't matter whether they can or can't prove the body is Jesus just like it doesn't matter whether or not they find the tomb at all because irrational beliefs can't be affected by rational evidence. The problem for most Christians is they try to justify their beliefs rationally, which is stupid, as their beliefs are absurd to begin with (see Kierkegaard). And, no, Atheism is not an article of faith, idiot. Atheism is a lack of belief. Non-belief is cannot be belief. ~B=/=B
Atheists believe there is no God. They cannot KNOW there is no God, because it cannot be proven. If it can, show me proof without getting into philosophies of "the problem of evil" or the "who created god" debate, which all have as many sides for them as against them. Show me how it can be scientifically proven that there has been a divine being that created the universe. Because if you have an opinion that has a complete lack of evidence, it is called FAITH.
And I'm not trying to justify my beliefs. I'm defending them because you are obviously the smug, arrogant type of atheist that makes some christians hate atheists. I have no problem with atheism, itself. I understand and accept the fact that not all are going to have my same beliefs. I'm not going to say christianity is perfect; we have plenty of *ssh*les in our group too. But if this is how you talk about christians, it's no wonder you see plenty of their bad side.
