Wonderful and deep. This is great, because you put so much work in it. It's slanted, and it's a strange screen... Goddamn! This is a new standard for YTMNDs. It also loops amazingly and has great sync.

Really hits me personally. I was a graphic design major for a semester, during which I discovered how much fallacious logic and shady use of psychology was present not only in advertizing, but also ingrained into the graphic design process behind it. Made me get out quick.

A negative view on the so-called "consumer mentality" in popular culture and advertising? Wow. That's something you don't see everyday - Oh, wait! Yes, you do. In fact, this pre-packaged skeptical bullsh*t, in an ironic twist, has even found it's way into popular films and television which are marketed for mass consumption... which begs the question, where did you find this? Delete this sh*t, *ssh*le.

communist propaganda. I know a way to make people feel bad... live in extreme poverty under a command economy with no human rights. When you become outraged from "uncovering the truth" that advertisements are an attempt to make you buy things, this does not make you a class-warrior fighting to enlighten the unwashed masses of their unknowing manipulation at the hands of greedy capitalists, it just illustrates how hopelessly naive and stupid stupid you are.

Advertisers should and do prey on people's insecurities. It's your responsibility to see through their gimmicks. Any arguments about anti-consumerism or anti-capitalism in this site are ridiculous and unfounded. I'm pro capitalism, pro consumerism. That doesn't imply that I think you need a $300 pair of sunglasses because J-Lo has them. This site says nothing about either capitalism or consumerism. It's main focus is on the consumers' vulnerabilities. Please downvote accordingly.

Alright, fine. I just can't handle the idea of consumer vicimization by manipulating advertisers anymore after reading the unrelenting torrent of "exposed secrets" and "hidden practices" in Fast Food Nation for a class I had... not even in comedy. 5'd for effort and articulation of the point of the ytmnd.

Tis how you sell product and make money. Drives the market. It would be stupid not to use psychology and your consumers vulnerabilities to make them buy. It is the responsibility of the consumer to choose whether to buy it or not. Still somwhat well done YTMND, not gonna downvote just because I don't agree with it.

5 this should be a message to "consumers" Why do Corporations call us Consumers? because we eat up every ounce of sh*t they throw at us... we not only eat it... we pay them for it... and the government for allowing us to buy it. F*ck the world.
