Freedom and Choice in Communication.
The FCC we should REALLY fight for. (Music used to emphasize the freedom of switching you often lose when you get a bundle, especially when they're the only ISP of their type.)

Well I don't have a choice anymore, since Verizon is the only cell provider with reception in my area, and Time Warner is the only cable and internet provider. I'm not exactly happy about paying $500 a month for my comm, but it's either that or move.

I'm not sure if I want to promote this or take any action myself...but if I do, Heather's comment is among one of several reasons.

That was inspired by Rob Morrison's comments regarding WNBC's move to hi-def, on Tuesday's "Today in New York" (something like 'now you can see more of Darlene Rodriguez's beauty...we're going hi-def!'), so apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Unless (and until) I read the actual bills that Net Neutrality-"supporting" Senators propose, I can't support the cause. I do oppose the entirely-different we-telecoms-can't-and-won't-build-networks-on-par-with-most-of-the-free-world-but-we-want-more-money-anyway stance. Especially when said stance is combined with typical triple-play f*ggotry.

Freedom of Choice is gone. We need Teddy Roosevelt up here. Comcast controls internet/tv/phonelines for about all of the northern midwest, as far as I know. Not that they suck, they're quite the contrary, but they force the smaller guys out, and not ethically.
