8-bit with polyphonic square wave
Created on: July 21st, 2006
8-bit with polyphonic square wave
Each bit is a different note. LSB is the highest MSB is the lowest. I know it doens't make sense but it sounds better than the other way around. Notes from LSB to MSB: C-4, A-3, F-3, D-3, B-2, G-2, E-2, C-2.

It's probably better than the original now that he messed it up with the non-epic Epic ending. Reminds me of something out of Metroid.

If i tune out everything except the note represented by the first bit while watching the first circle change back and forth, it does go off. then the picture finishes before the sound. still, cool how you made a nice tune just by incrementing some binary sequence over and over.

That works really well! It kind of acoustically represents binary, if that makes any sense. The other one stays on my favorites for the obscure Finnish ditty, this one gets a 5. Sound fair?

the notes are now in the description, keep in mind they are listed LSB to MSB which means in the animation they represent the dots from right to left. I was trying to follow a major scale in the mapping of notes to bits, let me know if I made any mistakes. Thanks!

Holy god sh*t penis damn f*ck buckets n****r. That is one of the most awesome things I've seen. People who downvote this don't understand how sweet this really is. You should use a preloader or tell them to refresh, because as it is the music loads quicker than the picture and they need to be going at the same time to get the effect you intend, which is so f*cking unbelieveably sweet.

NES Fact: If you wanted to play this tune on a NES you would need 4 of them in perfect sync since the NES only had 2 square wave generators. It also had a triangle wave generator, a noise generator and a primitive PCM output device. However, only square waves were used in this tune.
