not agreed. i hate nerd fanboys who cant judge a movie on its own merits, the "but the comics!" people. ugh. it was entertaining, maybe too short, some bad dialogue, but overall certainly didnt pull a Schumacher.

kill some innocents in mass #'s? Cause a huge natural disaster? If you were gonna kill the main characters at least don't do it so EARLY! And did mystique/magneto (who are major players IMO) have to die too? Couldn't their have been a 3rd lanky in the truck to take a bullet for MAG?

and by have to die I mean lose their powers. And why did Magneto turn his back so quick on mystique and the same goes vice versa? Yes I know that they "might get their powers back" judging by the chess scene, but still I didn't like it and it's not because I'm a comic fanboy (I'm not).

1) Magneto is a mutant supremacist extremist. Once Mystique is human, thats it. tough. period. you think a person who tried to kill all humans in X2 would make an exception?

also, if Mystique had kept her powers, she could have gotten into Alcatraz with no trouble. If Prof X was around for the last stand, he could stop people in their place. :/ . oh. and Cyclops died basically cuz James Marsden left for the Superman movie/wasnt around.

this movie suxed, but at the end Prof X comes back to life and we see his former love interest ;).Not to mention Magneto partially recieving his powers back... it's wide open for a 4th film. 3 because it's been done befor though.
