I really love this YTMND. Fads, although entertaining, really destroy most creativity on YTMND. I've contributed to fads, but the fad starters are who deserve the most respect.

Fads are great, some of my favorites were NSMB and SNG (early on, at least) But there's a huge difference between creating something interesting, and pasting a bunch of fad characters onto a page and calling it original.
