A reading of Neil Bauman's emails to Max Goldberg on Jan 10, 2006. Sorry for the flaky Brit accent and hamming it up. Also I dropped a couple of words. It's long. Hope you like it.

Look, I respect the fact that this was popular in its time, but I am pretty sure that half of these people that 5'd it never listened to the whole thing. Being honest, it was too long, but because of that, it must've taken a lot of work. The ONLY thing I found funny that made me smirk a little was the "LOL". I knew it was coming, but really, everything else was just a big reading. I remember when this was on the top 5 for awhile, and I wasn't a member, and I just clicked on it, saw a bunch of text...
...then soon realized what it was. It was, in-fact, a dramatic reading of a letter. I don't find that funny (exception of the LOL), but I think that the major portion of this fiving, was from the fact that everyone needed a way, some kind of a source, of unleashing rage upon Mr. Bauman. What better way than making a fool of himself on the front page of YTMND. While...let's say the majority, including myself, had nothing to do with any of this, and just wanted to join the mob of YTMND in the same way...
...one with school spirit would want to participate in a pep-rally (lol @ that "analogy"), I can still respect the fact that you took the time, and actually said something about it, even if it was just repeating what max already said. For the people who gave this site a one, this site is basically a great way for people who had no idea what the hell this was about, to click the source of the image and read it for themselves. Other-wise, for people like myself...
...who don't want to sit around and listen to this whole thing, which I did anyways, this site in general isn't that funny, which is what many sites on YTMND get downvoted for not being. But, simply because you literally made me "lol", at the, consiquently, "LOL", and because this became such a cult classic of YTMND, I proudly hand you a four, rather than downvoting this...
...and why did I just clutter up your comments with this? I dunno. But after going through and reading the reason for every person who rated this a one, I kind of felt like saying something. But I still give you a four, because you and the rest of the creators of the sites on here know how hard it is to make a successful YTMND...and anyways....4/5.

It's very hard to imagine a sophsticated Englishman reading a letter that is obviously not very sophisticated. THIS IS LUNACY!! Getting back on topic, a have a riddle for you: What's the difference between the Baumans and a mallard with a cold? One is a sick duck.........I can't remember the rest, but their mother is a whore.

I would like to formally state that there are in fact several members of this web page that do have the ability to communicate effectively. You, on the other hand, do not. Belittling the people that you have a conflict with is not a very smart decision. from the content of your letters I drew the conclusion that you suffer from the primal human illusion of invincibility. Let me say just this: you are not, as you think, invincible. Every day (even if you are a pussy as they say) you take risks.
Those risks apparently are something you are oblivious too. One great risk you took, and had disastrous effects for you, is the risk of insulting the entire contingency of YTMND.com. I am not a pre-teen, and if I got that bored I would use something that takes at least a nine volt, thank you very much.

I must confess. This is the first time I ever listened to the whole thing. Now I know where that "LOL" and "Yiddish Cup" audio comes from. This was made two months before I became a YTMNDer, so I had never been motivated enough to sit and listen to something that I missed out on. Therefore, after nearly 3 and a half years of having this site 1'd for not caring, I now change my vote to a 5. Have a great day. And come back to YTMND, boomaga. You've got some good sh*t.
