Like I've said before, "Stolen" in the context of a YTMND most often means a stolen idea or joke, and sites like this are demonstrative of that concept. My now deleted site's humor was focused on misinterpreted Bon Jovi lyrics, that misinterpretation stemming from me. This site's humor stems almost entirely from its image, which you didn't make and a Google search even three years ago probably would have turned up without fail. I think Fooliano explains it most succinctly below me.
After having watching the comments, I agree on Max' "YTMDN users are.. DUMB" YTMND. f*cking.. come on! "Instant classic", "best YTMND"? No, this is great and all, but f*ck off if you're going to praise a really old picture like THAT. I thought that by now everyone should've seen that picture on the internets. >:\
nlitement, I understand your feeling about this being an old thing. If I just whipped together a YTMND based on something that had been done before on the 'net that everyone had heard of, everyone would hate me! However:
1) This is not as popular, so it uses a much more popular medium to introduce new people to it
and
2) The mug shot and the music add so much to the joke! I mean, really, look at that idiot! Just throw in some pseudo-dramatic music and you've got a classic!
Holy f*ck...I'm taking a dump downstairs and looking through my sister's old Stuff Magazines because I'm constipated and I see this in there. I immediately released all of my digsetive objects and was no longer constipated. Congratulations on the start of many fads and free publicity OUTSIDE of YTMND.
